The STM32C5 series is STMicroelectronics’ latest cost-efficient, power-optimized 32-bit microcontroller, designed for entry-level and mainstream applications that need to balance performance, integration, and cost efficiency.
In this self-paced online workshop, you’ll gain practical experience in embedded system development with STM32 microcontrollers. You’ll learn how to set up the development environment, write and debug firmware, and interface with peripherals such as GPIO, PWM, ADC, EEPROM, and communication modules.
Get started quickly with STM32C5 using the enhanced STM32Cube ecosystem, including CubeMX2 and STM32CubeIDE for VS Code. Each exercise will be demonstrated by our STM32 specialists using the STM32 NUCLEO-C562RE development board. While the board is optional, if you want to follow along with the hands-on exercises, you can acquire the hardware prior to the workshop from ST or one of our distributors (see Prerequisites).
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to build and program functional projects, and to start designing and prototyping your own STM32C5-based applications.
This workshop combines a pre-recorded video presentation — which you can pause, rewind, or revisit at your own pace — with a live 3-hour Q&A/chat session, offered through breakout rooms, where you can speak with our experts and receive one-on-one tech support. Once the video presentation opens on the selected session date, you can return to it on-demand at any time.
The development board is not required to benefit from the workshop, but if you plan to follow along with the exercises, you will need the following:
