Work through a high-voltage motor inverter design with ST and Würth Elektronik engineers. You will see how power stage integration and PFC topology choices change losses, cooling, EMC results and cost, and what the passive components and filter need in response.
ST engineers explain the switching devices, gate drivers and PFC control. Würth Elektronik engineers explain the inductors, capacitors and EMC filter components. Together, we follow the whole power path between the mains input and the motor terminals, and show each switching choice next to its effect on the filter.
STPOWER covers silicon devices such as IGBTs and MOSFETs as well as WBG technologies such as GaN and SiC, while STDRIVE gate drivers, STSPIN motor drivers, and analog and digital PFC solutions support the full motor-control power chain.
Register now to work through the reference design with us and apply the same trade-offs to your own motor inverter projects.
